Find out the best weapons and artifacts for the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonious in our Jean Best Build Guide.

Jean is a 5-Star Anemo character in Genshin Impact. Jean, also known as the Dandelion Knight, is the ever-serious Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius of Mondstadt. She is a proficient DPS or support character who wields a sword and harnesses the force of the wind, depending on your choice. She is very powerful and is quite high on our Genshin Impact Tier List. You can also check out our Klee Best Build Guide and Ganyu Best Build Guide.

Jean is significantly better as a DPS character than as a support character, but she is competent in both. We suggest pairing her with Venti for a more slow depletion of stamina. Jean’s talent priority falls on the talent of hers you’ll be using the most. Her Elemental Burst, which provides both healing and damage, is a must-have for practically every build. Her Elemental Skill, on the other hand, shouldn’t be too far behind her Burst in terms of level, as it’s beneficial for any build. Regardless, you’ll only use her Normal Attack occasionally, so keep the level of this talent low or disregard it entirely.

Jean Best Build Guide

  • Low base damage.

Jean Talents

Favonious Bladework (Normal Attack)

Normal Attack – Performs up to 5 consecutive strikes.

Charged Attack – Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to launch an enemy using the power of wind. Launched enemies will slowly fall to the ground.

Plunging Attack – Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Gale Blade (Elemental Skill)

Focusing the might of the formless wind around her blade, Jean releases a miniature storm, launching enemies in the direction she aims at, dealing massive Anemo DMG.

Hold

At the cost of continued Stamina consumption, Jean can command the whirlwind to pull surrounding enemies towards her front. Direction can be adjusted. Character is immobile during skill duration.

Dandelion Breeze (Elemental Burst)

Calling upon the wind’s protection, Jean creates a swirling Dandelion Field, launching surrounding enemies and causing Anemo DMG. At the same time, she instantly regenerates a large amount of HP for nearby allied units and all party members. HP restored scale off Jean’s ATK.

Dandelion Field

  • Continuously regenerates HP for one ally and imbues them with the Anemo attribute.
  • Deals Anemo DMG to enemies entering or exiting the field.
