NBA superstar Draymond Green has come up with an interesting response to the boxing challenge of Cam Heyward
Draymond Green is known for a witty response or two. The Golden State Warriors superstar never backs down from a challenge – either on or off the basketball court – and is always ready to respond, and he has shown it again with an instantaneous response to a boxing challenge made by Cameron Heyward.
The Golden State Warriors superstar has come up with an interesting response to American football player Cam Heyward challenging him for a boxing match.
The American football player who turns out for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL), had recently challenged Green to a one-on-one fight in a boxing ring, and Green was quick to respond.
It was in a podcast on YouTube that Heyward made his intentions of fighting Green known.
When the host asked Heyward – a defensive tackle for the Steelers and one of the strongest players in the NFL – about who he would like to face inside the ring and specified that his answer should be somebody outside American football, Heyward came up with Green’s name.
When the host reminded Heyward that the outspoken Green will sell “the hell out of the fight”, Heyward said that he will let Green do all the talking. And much as expected, Green’s almost immediate response was witty and characteristic as ever.
What did Draymond Green have to say about Heyward’s boxing challenge?
The four-time NBA champion was quick to respond to the challenge with a hilarious comeback.
Green took to his official Twitter account to quote the tweet of the aforementioned Heyward quote, and declined the challenge with one of the funniest rejections we have ever seen.
The Golden State Warriors superstar wrote: “I definitely will do all the talking big fella… as the promoter! I’m not getting in anyones boxing ring… NO SIR!!! Go Steelers! 1-0”
The hilarious comeback by Green went viral on the social media platform in no time.
