He was considered one of the greatest ballers to ever step foot on the court with the likes of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and even LeBron James. During his retirement speech, Kobe Bryant was emotional, addressing the sell-out crowd with a towel on his head. He said, “Man, I can’t believe how fast 20 years went by, it’s crazy, absolutely crazy to be standing here on the same court with you guys, with my team mates behind me.”

Kobe appreciated the journey he took alongside the Los Angeles Lakers fans, “There have been a few ups and downs but the most important part is that we all stayed together throughout. All I can do here is thank you guys for all the years of support, all the years of inspiration. This has been unbelievable. I can’t believe it has come to an end,”
Kobe Bryant was a 5-time NBA Champion, he was the second legend after Michael Jordan to bring home 3 consecutive championships to his franchise. Sadly, the 18-time NBA All-Star left the world on 26th January, 2020, in a helicopter crash.
Bryant was 41 years old when he died, he was accompanied by his daughter and a few others. The World of NBA was stunned by the news that surrounded the Lakers’ organisation like dark clouds.
