Washington Commanders have a lot on their plate with owner Dan Snyder being under the scanner for spoiling the workplace culture within his organization. The bright light has been brought by Quarterback Carson Wentz, who made a great start in the 2022-23 season but has cooled down since.
Carson Wentz suffered an injury on his finger during his team’s latest encounter against the Chicago Bears. After which doctors speculated that the star Quarterback could be ruled out from four to six weeks. But after the surgery on the finger of the 29-year-old, the optimistic layer still suggests that Wentz could be out for four weeks.
Now in Carson Wentz’ absence – it looks like the Washington Commanders could not be turning their attention towards Taylor Heinicke. Moreover, apart from Wentz these players are also placed on the injury list – WR Dyami Brown due to groin injury, CB William Jackson due to back injury, TE Logan Thomas due to calf injury and RB Jonathan Williams due to knee injury.
Carson Wentz ruled out of Week 7 showdown vs Packers
The Carson Wentz led Washington Commanders are placed 4th in the NFC East after losing four out of the six games in the 2022-23 regular season. Moreover, with the likes of Eagles, Cowboys and Giants in their division – this team needs a miracle to reach the playoffs.
That being said, with Wentz out will the Commanders be able to register their third win of the 2022-23 season as they lock horns against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7? Remains to be seen as the footballing festivity continues.
