Miesha Tate and Johnny Nunez did not have time to go to the hospital for the delivery
UFC legend Miesha Tate and Johnny Nunez welcomed their second child in Singapore recently.
Tate, who retired from the MMA fighting scene in 2016, joined ONE Championship as its Vice President.
Nunez is an MMA fighter and the pair have been in a relationship since 2018. They already had one child in 2018, a daughter named Amaia Nevaeh Nunez and now welcomed their second child, a son named Daxton Wylder Nunez.
However, the delivery did not go as planned. Tate shared the story on her Instagram and added that the plan was to have the delivery in a hospital.
But the delivery took another turn and the two had to welcome their child at home in Singapore:
“Today I became a Mother all over again! The experience was incredible, we planned a hospital birth but our son had other plans!”
Tate also thanked Nunez for all the support he provided during the delivery.

The quartet seem to be doing well and we wish them the best for the foreseeable future.
A legend in the UFC
Tate retired from MMA with a record of 18 wins and seven losses. However, two of those losses came in her last two fights.
The 33-year-old won the Bantamweight titles in both Strikeforce and the UFC. She beat many top stars such as Jessica Eye and Holly Holm but lost the UFC title to Amanda Nunes at UFC 200.
Her last fight came against Raquel Pennington at UFC 205 and that is where she announced her retirement.
Nunez last fight at ONE Championship in 2019 but lost to Kazuki Tokudome. The American is known as Johnny Boy in the Octagon and holds an MMA record of seven wins and two losses so far in his career.
