Raquel is a second-generation professional wrestler. She used to play basketball for the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas. She was signed by WWE on October 25, 2016. She made her debut under the ring name Victoria on January 20, 2017, at a live WWE event. Rodriguez competed in the inaugural Mae Young Classic but was eliminated.
After some time, on February 16, 2020, at NXT TakeOver, Gonzalez made her first televised appearance under the ring name Raquel Gonzalez where she interfered in a street fight between Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox and allowed Kai to win the match.
She aligned herself with Kai first as her bodyguard, but then they formed a stable and took part in the inaugural Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and won the tournament, which gave them a shot at NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The following week, they defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler to become the inaugural NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, they soon lost the titles to Blackheart and Moon.
