There’s no secret that Nick Kyrgios is a fan of the Boston Celtics. He has been sporting the team’s colors on a number of occasions.
The Australian had an impressive run at the recently-concluded Wimbledon Championships when he reached the finals before being ousted by Serbian legend Novak Djokovic.
Recently, there have been rumors spreading like fire regarding Jaylen Brown’s likely departure from the Celtics. The fans of the legendary team are concerned as Brown has been an influential figure for them over the last six years. He joined the team on June 23, 2016. The talented basketball player was the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft.
In 2019, Brown signed a four-year extension worth $115 million with the Celtics. He had a stupendous season in 2019-20 but narrowly missed out on selection into the 2020 NBA All-Star Game. He made it to the 2021 NBA All-Star team as a reserve.
The 27-year-old Kyrgios shared a video from Ballislife.com featuring Brown and wrote in the caption: “please stay”
