The WWE 2K22 roster is expected to feature a lot of the released stars unless it gets delayed
WWE 2K22 is one of the most highly anticipated WWE games in years thanks to the debacle that was WWE 2K20.
There were several bugs and glitches when WWE 2K20 came out and the game was lambasted by most critics.
Many bugs are still present in the game and well, even the graphics looked outdated when compared to the previous instalment.
WWE also did not have a WWE 2K21 game as they worked to make 2K22 the best product available. They did release a WWE 2K Battlegrounds game but that was more arcade based and less sim based.
However, there seems to be some good news for WWE 2K fans as Brian Mazique of Forbes (h/t Cageside Seats) has confirmed that the gameplay of the new edition is “fantastic”.
There was even an update on the roster of WWE 2K22 with most of the released stars expected to feature in the game.
Aleister Black, Braun Strowman, Lana, Buddy Murphy and Bray Wyatt were some of the big names released by the company recently.
However, unless there is a delay in the release date of the game, the released stars should be part of WWE 2K22.
What can the WWE 2K22 roster look like?
NXT has been decimated with a lot of cuts recently and it will be interesting to see what the WWE 2K22 roster will actually look like.
Strowman, Wyatt and Black are just some of the names cut. Many female talents were also cut like Peyton Royce, Ruby Riott and Billie Kay.
Most WWE games do feature a create a superstar mode, and fans could basically make any wrestler they choose but that never feels like the real thing.
WWE could have signed waivers to allow the use of some character in WWE 2k22 and it will be interesting to see the roster when the game is released.
