Piper Niven made her debut on the latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW on the 14th of June

Kimberly Benson better known by her in-ring name Piper Niven was born in Ayrshire, Scotland.

The 30-year old made her professional wrestling debut at the age of 18, way back in 2009.

Scottish Wrestling Alliance was set to be her first professional venture. Following her success, she then moved to Japanese Wonder Ring Stardom.

However, it was during her tenure in the Insane Championship Wrestling that she gained popularity. The Scot was a two-time ICW champion.

Niven then made her switch to the WWE, debuting in WWE’s Mae Young Classic in 2017. She went until the third round, before being defeated by Toni Storm.

In March 2019 she made her debut on NXT UK, confronting current WWE RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Following regular appearances in the NXT, Niven became a mainstay in the promotion.

She finally got her calling on the 14th of June 2021, when he made her main-roster debut on Monday Night RAW.

Niven made her return alongside, Eva Marie who recently returned to the WWE, after being away from the promotion for more than three years. However, despite being named a part of the roster, she never made her in-ring return.

An elated Niven returned to Marie, who was by the ring, following her victory.

Piper Niven’s possible new ring name

When Niven made her debut on Monday Night RAW, the red brand didn’t recognize her name as Piper Niven.

Recent reports from Fightful Select suggest that she might be given a new ring name. “Dew Drop” or “Doudrop, is being expected as Niven’s ring name.

However, there has not been any official confirmation of the same.
